“Sounds that evoke fresh emotions”
“Nagata Acoustics” fantastic acoustics created by world-class artisans
LOTTE Concert Hall provides the world’s finest quality sounds designed and
created by “Nagata Acoustics,” a world-class company that designed globally
acclaimed concert halls such as “Suntory Hall” in Japan, “Walt Disney Hall”
in the United States, and “Philharmonie de Paris” in France.
Acoustics installed in LOTTE Concert Hall is a result of our meticulous
search for not only the best architectural design but also the best mechanics.
Each placement of lightings and structure of seating, stage direction and
screen size are an outcome of a careful construction. Yasuhisa Toyota, a
chief acoustician of Nagata Acoustics actively engaged in the process and
helped us produce top-notch acoustics. We have also facilitated a 1/10th
scale model acoustics tests. Come and enjoy the magnificence of the performances
delivered by the best acoustics designs.
“BOX-in-BOX” Architectural techniques to provide richer acoustics
LOTTE Concert Hall is also equipped with architectural techniques that enable richer and more subtle sound effects. For the first time in Korea, a Box-in-a-box system has been applied and facilitated: for the best auditory experiences, the internal structure (floor, walls, and ceilings) has been completely separated from the external structure.
